βš“ Ahoy, there! Trafalgar Day Dinner at The Old George βš“

Raise the anchor and join us for an evening of great food, good company and plenty of sea-faring spirit! 🍻

What's Trafalgar Day, then? Every 21st October, we mark the anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar (1805), when Admiral Lord Nelson led the Royal Navy to one of its most famous victories against the combined French and Spanish fleets. It was a triumph that secured Britain's command of the seas for a generation β€” though Nelson himself fell in the hour of victory aboard HMS Victory. More than two centuries on, it's a day for hoisting a glass to courage, camaraderie and the great tradition of raising "The Immortal Memory" β€” a toast to Nelson and all who served.

Why celebrate? Because it's the perfect excuse to gather round a good table, share a hearty meal, and lose yourself in a night of song and story. There's history to honour, shanties to bellow, and no shortage of good cheer β€” all under one roof at The Old George.

What's in store: Enjoy a delicious dinner accompanied by a live performance from the Sea Shanties β€” expect plenty of toe-tapping, singing along and maritime mischief! πŸŽΆβš“
