Trace Buggins, General manager
With over 50 years in the hospitality trade, Trace has landed on the doorstep of The Old George, Ickleford. With a history of working in hotels, sports clubs and some of the best Gastro Pubs in Herts, Beds and Bucks, it is clear that hospitality is in his blood… hardly surprising with a father, grandfather and great grandfather all having been Landlords in the Midlands, where he grew up and helped out for pocket money.
Whilst at the locally renowned Black Horse @ Ireland, Trace gained Michelin recognition, was rated 25th best pub in the the country and voted Bedfordshire Chef of the Year three years running, so we are thrilled that he’s now at The Old George, and determined to bring you the best customer service, food and drink in the area.
